Debuted in 2021 with CityPop single ‘City Crawling’, singer-songwriter Lagchun has made his name in the CityPop genre with a number of Y2K retro style City Pop songs. Followed by the full-house success of his first solo show at KITEC’s Music Zone in the same year, he was awarded Best Newcomer and Best Improvement at Metro Hits Awards in 2021 and in 2022 respectively.
In 2023, Lagchun released his debut album “Legend 1980” on digital platforms, and limited edition vinyl and cassette tape versions were distributed in Tokyo, Taiwan and Hong Kong as a tribute to the CityPop era. Later that year, he joined Green Music, a sub-label of Sony Music HK, with the aim of bringing more good vibes to music.
In 2024, he was awarded “ACE Face Singer-songwriter” at ACE Face Of Hong Kong Star Awards, Giant Leap Male Singer (Silver) at Metro Hits Awards and Best Improved Singer (Gold) at The 46th Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Award.
Lagchun was invited to collaborate with various artists. He participated in Leo Ku’s music project “I Really Love To Sing” in 2022, where he rearranged and covered Leo’s single ‘Can We Try.’ In 2023, he also collaborated with Phil Lam and released a remix version of Phil’s single ‘Backstage’.
